Was in the mood for fish and chips and saw the reviews here on Yelp. Reasonably priced and well prepared. It was obvious the oil used for frying was fresh, and the batter on the fish was tasty and not a bit greasy. Good chips (fries) as well. My only critique would be on the fish itself. Rather than light and flaky, it was a bit chewy with a bit of a "fishy" taste. Not sure if that's due to the type of fish used or its freshness. Service was prompt and friendly, and the Hawaiian decor made for a nice casual ambiance. All in all, a nice place for lunch. I'd give it another go to see if the fish could be a bit more tender and flavorful.

Really, I like this place. I think the owner cares about his business and his customers. I had concerns in the change in the fish of the fish and chips platter. He explained they are now cutting the fish so the center line is gone. Right there, just cutting your fish tells you how fresh it is. My friend had the Hawaiian sandwich. It was very large and yummy. Grilled chicken breast with pineapple and teriyaki. Staff takes care to keep the place clean, wiping down the self serve soda machine. There is a good variety of bottled beers, including Big Wave. It was a very enjoyable lunch stop. Check it out, you won't regret it.

I have had fish and chips here several times recently. Good quality fish and fries, fresh and tasty. Counter service prompt and friendly. I recommend the place fully.

Until today, it had been a while since I've eaten at Lahaina's. Their club wrap is every bit as good as I remember it. Absolutely delicious.

This is the BEST breakfast burrito I've ever had. The salsa is also to die for. Great customer service, clean establishment and truly a hidden gem. Will absolutely be back!!

Nestled in SLO, this small restaurant has garnered a reputation for its mouthwatering fish and burgers. However, what truly stole the show for me was their secret gem: the breakfast burrito. Bursting with flavor, this burrito boasts a perfect harmony of fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, melted cheese, and fresh vegetables all wrapped in a toasted tortilla. Despite its humble appearance, this breakfast delight surpasses expectations with its generous portion size and impeccable execution. Without a doubt, this hidden culinary treasure has earned its place as the best breakfast burrito I've ever had.

Came here around 4pm on a Monday. Place wasn't busy at all. Ordered scallops and chips and husband got a grilled chicken sandwich. The food was really good. The service was good. Seems like a small, family owned place. If we lived local we'd come here often. 4 stars given because our meal cost us almost $50 and we didn't feel like we had $50 worth of food.
